Updating Transportaiton

The Moscow Metro continues to expand to meet the growing needs of the greater Moscow Area.  New lines are porposed and under construction though more of the outlying areas.  With the population of Moscow to contiune to grow, it is a constant struggle to keep up with demand.  In some cities where public transportation is underused, Moscow never has enough.

Adding Greenspace

As Russia begins to overhaul some of the Soviet era construction projects, planners are working in ways to expand the green-way spaces in the city. Corridors along residential areas between the major roads and highways are planned, with connecting bridges and other infistructure to connect the very downtown with the outskirts.  Today, the downtown feels like a very different city from the outlying areas, and one of the goals is to give the regious somce common ground while preserving their uniqueness.
