The NextFest show runs for two weeks, but the building is to remain after the exhibition is over. The main pavilion will remain essentially as it is, with the removal of the gift shop walls and etc. The cafeteria would serve as the food preparation, and the ticket desks would act as the meet-and-greet reception point. Usages could vary, from weddings and conferences to parties and etc. In the main pavilion, the mezzanine level could be removed to create a large indoor space.

Most people will enter the exhibit from the front entrance from the outdoor courtyard. When entering, the visitor is immediately confronted with the ticket counter, however, they are not required to have a ticket to visit this pavilion. The Entrance/Support Pavilion contains many of the extra-exhibit functions such as the cafeteria on the second level and the gift shop. In addition, a cafe is located nearest to the corner of the site where the lake and the canal meet.

The pedestrian walkway is extended around the building, so people can visit the cafe as with any typical coffee shop. The gift shop has a prominent position, but it is not obligatory to pass through the gift shop. The cafeteria is a self-serve buffet-style similar to institutions, schools and hospitals.

Tickets are checked at the point before entering the Air and Land Vehicle Pavilion. The lower level contains the large aircraft on display and the upper level contains the land vehicles. This is the 'main' pavilion and is likely to have the most people in it. As a result, the spiral stair cases would likely be designated the "up" stair and the "down" stair to ease traffic flow.

When leaving the Air and Land Pavilion the visitor can either proceed on to the next area, or go outside and watch the water vehicles demonstrated in the small bay area in front of the NextFest exhibition. The ampetheater provides seating for about 300 people. If the show is not in progress, people can proceed to the next pavilion.

Visitors also have the option of going back through the Air and Land Pavilion and get their tickets re-authorized and go to the gift shop, cafe and cafeteria.

After leaving or skipping the outdoor demonstration area for the water vehicles, the visitor enters the Education and Water Vehicle Pavilion. Because it has less program, this pavilion is slightly smaller than the other two. The lower level serves a dual purpose as an area to display the Water Vehicles as well as hold two small lecture halls which have 64 seats in each.

The upper level is the Kids Education Pavilion which is an area for the kids who come to the show to get some hands-on with solar technology, robotics and other technology used in the exhibition. There are also videos geared towards children. The parents have the option of being with their kids, or letting them explore on their own. Assistants would guide the kids to the activities and there would also likely be scheduled events.
