Q: A read that you died. What's up with that?
A: Yes, someone named Alex M. Fortney, 22, of Madison did die in a motorcycle accident a few years ago. No...obviously that was not me. The man who died coincidently had my same name and was very close in age with me. I never met him personally, but I would occasionally get his mail and phone calls and our records got mixed up at a hospital once. My condolences go to his family and friends, as they will probably stumble upon this site.
Q: I see your name elsewhere on the Internet, what other sites do you associate with?
A: Other than this site, I have an personal site called ProfessorCornbread.com. This site contains my blog, photos and other things that while are my content, are personal rhetoric that do not necessarily reflect my general additude in a work environment. Also, I am a member of Naturalfilms, a film company owned by a friend of mine. Lastly, I have an account at DeviantART where I post my photos.
Q: Are we related?
A: If you have family in Watertown or Johnson Creek, Wisconsin or Boulder, Colorado...perhaps.
Q: My name is Alex Fortney too, will you sell your website? Can I take it?
A: No. alexfortney.com will be owned by me for life. You have no legal recourse to seize my domain name, and any summons for ICANN negotiations will be dismissed, rudely.
Q: Will you show me how to make a website like yours?
A: I occasionally do web design for hire, so please email me if you are interested. Otherwise, you are welcome to 'view source' and learn what you can. There are many great resources on the net to show you how to create stylish sites.
Q: Can I used your gallery images for _________?
A: No. You are forbidden from using my images in any way. The only exception is to adorn your desktop. If I find my images used on another web site or other media, I will persue legal action against you. I also have the right to remove these images personally if I see fit.
Q: Do you have hobbies?
A: Other than making web sites and all things architecture, I like performance theatre, film making, bicycling and photography.
