Architecture 201 Projects

Architecture 201 is the second studio class where we learn about spatial analysis and diagramming

Arch 201 Project 1

Project 1

The first part of the semester was dedicated to analysis of existing sites and drawing and modeling their main elements in an abstract way. Some buildings included the Salk Institute by Louis Kahn, La Casa del Fascio in Italy, and the Middleton Inn in New England.

Arch 201 Project 2

Project 2

The second part of the semester involved abstractly modeling the elements that make up the city of Milwaukee. The project began, and ultimately ended, with a group model of a section of the city encompassing about a square mile. The model was represented in 1:00 scale making for a very large structure.
